When was the last time you viewed yourself as a sensual, beautiful person? I don't know about you, but I have noticed that as we age-have our babies, take care of our careers/families/homes- life'sresponsibilities tends to place our sensuality down the priority list, right next "take the dog to the vet" and "pay the hydro bill".I remember a time- a special time that I like to refer to as "B.C.(Before Children)"- where I had hours to make myself up, eat right, work out, find sexy clothes.. oh heavens, going through the shoppingmall by myself! If I had known then, I would have slowed down andsucked in every moment of it.Don't get me wrong, I love my children and my husband with everybreath of my body. I do not regret this path for a second. Wait aminute..okay..yes I do wish I had a time machine and went back towhisper in my ear "Save your money instead of buying those shoes, because honey, you will need those dollars!" But really? Who has timeor the money to build a time machine? Here's what I believe. There are ways to be a great mother, wonderfulwife, contributing member of society.. and at the same time feelingsexy, beautiful and confident. It all comes down to attitude-- not howyou look, (trust me being a size 2 doesn't make life any better!) Ourinner self shining through our outer exterior. To all the women everywhere, let's start a revolution! A revolution ofreclaiming our sensuality and feeling beautiful. This doesn't mean"looking beautiful"-- it's about HOW we feel about ourselves. Justbecause we are aging and/or have given birth, that how we feel aboutourselves needs to slide down our priority list. So, let's begin by putting ourselves up the list, right next tobreathing, eating and sleeping. (Oh! Yes! Let's add Sex to the list,but.. that's a whole other rant in itself!) This may seem like aselfish step or even a big task, but truly is not. Remember, when aplane is going to crash, we are instructed to put the breathing deviceon ourselves first and then transfer to our little ones.

It's time forus to take a deep inhale."I am beautiful-I am strong-I am valuable- I am capable- I am love"Now exhale.

Cheers,
Jane Wilson

Centreville Amusement Park

Centreville Amusement Park
Centreville, located on the Toronto Islands, is a natural destination for a day trip, especially with younger children. With over 30 rides and attractions this theme park is a feast of rides for the whole family. And getting to this amusement park is almost as exciting as the park itself. The only way to get there is by the Centre Island Ferry.

The 14-acre theme park is designed to look like a turn-of-the-century Ontario village. You'll love the antique carrousel with its fanciful animals. Kids can get plenty of driving experience zooming around in the antique cars, touring cars or fire engines. Spin yourself silly in the self-propelled Barrels Of Fun; or enjoy picturesque views from the top of the windmill-style Ferris Wheel or the Sky Ride – a gondola that soars over the entire park.

For those who can handle a few more thrills… tackle the rough seas aboard the Rockin’ Ferry Ride, twirl in the new Tea Cups, spin around in the dark in the Scrambler, ride on the Monster Coaster, take a plunge in the Log Flume Ride or bounce around in Bumper Boats and Bumper Cars.
Centreville offers kid-sized thrills, laughter, great food, fun, and relief from the city's heat. The park-like setting makes it ideal for a family outing!

Toronto Island also has a large number of picnic sites, restaurants and event venues available in the summer months for birthday and staff parties, product launches, weddings, conferences, concerts and events of any kind. Contact our Centre Island sales team for more information at 416-203-0405 or info@centreisland.caThe Ferry Docks are just south of Union Station, west of the Westin Harbour Castle hotel at Bay Street and Queens Quay. Ferries leave every 15 minutes during peak hours. Toronto Ferry information 416-392-8193Centreville is open daily at 10:30am from the first weekend in June to Labour Day and all weekends in May and September, weather permitting.

Oakville Moms Review:
It's been a while since I've been to Centreville (located on the Toronto Islands). Now going with my children I see the world through their eyes. We had so much fun and the day couldn't have been more perfect. Starting off with the ferry ride my boys had a blast. Then as soon as we arrived to the island, we had a picnic. Wherever we looked there was stretches of green grass, trees and trails, it is very picturesque; we felt as though we were so far away from the city. One of the many nice things about Centreville Amusement Park is that a lot of the rides parents can accompany their children. For example we went on the Centreville Train, Antique Cars, Swan Ride just to name a few. They also have a Wading Pool (like a Splash Pad), Pony Express, Log Flume Ride, Ferris Wheel Ride, and so much more.

Centreville Amusement Park prices are reasonable for tickets and food. You can also bring in your own food with no hassle. There is something there for everyone: children and adults. You will have fun no matter what you do there. Don't forget to get a Funnel Cake before you leave Centreville Amusement Park, it was certainly delicious! The park is open daily. See their web site to find out more information.

Oakville Moms Review:
I couldn't have tried out Today I Ate A Rainbow at a better time. It was exactly what I was looking for. My 3 year old is somewhat of a picky eater. We all know what that means, certain foods he likes and other foods he just won't give it a chance. When I received the package I made a point in letting my youngest know that this was something especially for him. He was so excited to check it out. Today I Ate A Rainbow package includes: 1 chart, 2 sets of square and round magnets, 4 achievement magnets, 4 fridge magnets, 1 shopping list and Rainbow Bunch book.

It's truly a great interactive tool for both parents and kids to set healthy eating habits. The goal is to have your child eat five fruits and vegetables a day. The chart has 5 colours of the rainbow. Each colour gives you a list of fruits and vegetables that you should eat in a day. Even for myself when I go shopping I make a point in getting fruits and vegetables from each colour category. So when your child eats a fruit or vegetable of that colour, you place the colour magnet, once they have covered all 5 colours in the chart you place the Today I Ate A Rainbow achievement magnet. We have been using the Today I Ate A Rainbow for a couple of weeks now and even from the first day it worked! My son was moved by the story in the Rainbow Bunch book. Some of the children were either sick or not growing as fast because they were not eating their fruits and vegetables. But in the end when all the children were eating their fruits and vegetables they were healthy and happy and that put a smile on my son's face. So far my son has tried 3 new fruits and 2 vegetables and I couldn't have done it without Today I Ate A Rainbow. It's a great start and I couldn't be happier. My son is having fun putting the colourful magnets up once he eats something. That is the whole point of Today I Ate A Rainbow, we have to make our children understand that eating fruits and vegetable are good for us. That eating a rainbow of fruits and vegetables will make us healthy and happy. Today I Ate A Rainbow is well designed, colourful, easy to use and your children will be excited to show off their achievements. It certainly has helped us and I know it will help you too. Today I Ate A Rainbow also has some great tips for picky eaters.

Be sure to check out Today I Ate A Rainbow site to find out more about them.

It's already August, summer is half way over and going back to school is just a month away. That means buying school supplies for the kids and what better way to personalize your items with Stuck On You labels. We all know that our kids belongings can get misplaced at school and daycare so labelling them is a MUST! Stuck On You now has a Designer Collection. Check out the great designs and the options you have. They have you covered: personalized pencils, shoe labels, bag tags, backpacks, lunchboxes, book labels, clothing labels and so much more. We received a sample of their personalized transport design lunchbox and my son loves it. It's very well made, practical with insulation and an inside pocket as well. The lunchbox is kid friendly as my son is able to open it by himself and place his items inside (something he must do in school). Some other designs for the lunchbox are: Fantasy, Seaside, Garden Creatures, Traffic Jam, Cupcakes, Friendly Monsters just to name a few.

Stuck On You also has other products for the whole family such as personalized canvases, height charts, kitchen labels, personalized note pads, and "stick with me" wrist bands. Great designs, great options and practical labels are what Stuck On You is all about. To see their full line of products please visit their web site.
