Rising Sun Martial Arts is dedicated to teaching children, adults, and families the art of self defence. We are owned and operated by 8th degree black belt, Grand Master Michael Martin. For more than 3 decades he has endeavoured to pass along his knowledge to new generations, and to empower people to find courage and strength within themselves.
We run Tae Kwon Do programs for children starting at age 3, as well as programs for adults and for families to do together. Classes are interactive with a high emphasis on physical activity, and mental disciplines such as respect for others, self control, and a no quit attitude. In each class, students are taught proper techniques in a fun, informative, and contr
olled environment.
At Rising Sun, we don't stop at Martial Arts. We believe in giving our students fitness and activity with a purpose. We offer Cardio Kickboxing programs and personal training to give everyone the best chance of success in their preferred fitness activity.
Our After School Program, as well as our March Break/Summer Camps give your child's care a purpose. Tae Kwon Do lessons, structured activities, and
tons of games and crafts keeps your children mentally and physically fit. In these programs, you child learns all the skills and criteria they need to advance to higher belt levels in Tae Kwon Do. They will achieve success each day and earn a Black Belt with our After School Program.
