Weight Loss Challenge

Be the "Biggest Loser" for the fall and holiday season, and win money and prizes for getting healthier, feeling good and looking great.

Open to the public, this challenge is run by local wellness coaches and is being hosted by Safe & Easy Weight Loss located at 1380 Cardif, Mississauga (Derry & Tomken Area). In-person registration is from 1 to 3pm Sunday, Sept. 20th.

Space is limited to 30 participants. The cost is $35 per person. A portion of the registration fee is paid out in cash prizes. Winners are determined based on percentage of body weight lost. Each participant will receive their own personal coach and nutritional classes for the entire 12 weeks.

First class begins Tuesday, Sept. 29. Weigh-in begins at 5:45 p.m. and nutrition class starts at 6:15 p.m. Classes run for approximately 45 minutes.

THE YOGA CLINIC (TYC) - Yoga Classes and Babysitting services

Christine Aragon Hons B.A. OYA-R, the director of THE YOGA CLINIC (TYC) and mother of 1, was first introduced to yoga at age 23. She successfully completed intensive training in Hatha, Vinyasa, Power Flow and Prenatal Yoga through the Yoga Teacher Training program at Tula Studios in 2007, and became a fully registered yoga instructor through the Federation of Yoga Teachers Association (FOYT) in 2008. She maintains certification from St. John Ambulance in First Aid and CPR Level-C. Christine now teaches on Thursday evenings from 7-8PM at THE YOGA CLINIC, located at St.Aidan's Church.

TYC Mission is to help clients in all stages of life achieve their fitness objectives by providing excellent yoga instruction in a comfortable non-competitive environment. TYC Objectives are to provide excellent customer service along with quality yoga instruction. TYCoffers pre-registered babysitting and has created 2 customer appreciation programs- the TYC Loyalty Program & the Client Entitlement Program supported by the TYC Family of Partners.
