Oakville School of Music is an independent music
school that provides students with the opportunity to excel in music education.
Our school offers private and group instruction at all levels to students
wishing to begin, develop, and further progress in music education. Classes
begin for students ages 4 and up on the following instruments: piano, voice,
violin, flute, guitar and ukulele.
Summer
Camps 2013
The
OSMPA is excited to offer a wide range of summer camps that foster musical
develop in a fun group environment.
OSMPA’s
piano camps are designed to foster growth in individual musicians, including
skills in rhythm and ear training, while mastering pieces in a group
environment. The OSMPA’s unique Piano
Fingers Mini Camp will
continue to be offered this year for students ages 4 to 6, and new this year is
the Intermediate
Piano Camp
for students ages 7 to 11. Both camps are ideal for students completely new to
the piano or are within their first year of playing.
Each
camper will have his/her own keyboard to practice on throughout the week and in
addition you can expect the following group activities: group piano classes,
rhythm and movement games, singing, music listening, introduction to composers,
crafts, and music theory games.
There
are a limited number of spots, due to the nature of the programming. Please book
your spot early to ensure a spot in the camp! An early bird registration
discount is offered up until May 15th 2013.
