Halton Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who had interactions with a teenaged female on her way home from school.
On November 7, 2013 at 5:15 p.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking southbound on Fourth Line in the area of Glen Valley Road, Oakville and observed a vehicle parked on the east side of Fourth Line facing in a northerly direction. As she approached the vehicle a man emerged from the car and engaged her in conversation. The man offered repeatedly to drive her home and she declined his offers. The girl proceeded home and last observed the man standing at the corner of Fourth Line and Glen Valley Road.
The man is described as white, 5’8", 50 years of age, very short salt and pepper hair with a salt and pepper goatee. He had a muscular build with broad shoulders, large nose and was wearing a black winter coat and black pants. The man’s vehicle was described as a red or burgundy ‘Smart’ car.
Investigators are uncertain about the intentions of this unknown male and would like to speak with him.
Anyone with information that would assist in identifying the individual in this incident is asked to contact the Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau at 905 825-4747 x2260, Crime Stoppers at 1 800 222-TIPS(8477), through the web at www.haltoncrimestoppers.com or by texting ‘Tip201’ with your message to 274637(crimes).

IS FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
Burl-Oak Theatre Group’s version of Cinderella is a typical British pantomime. The script follows the traditional Cinderella love story where Cinders meets her Prince Charming and features the traditional cast of characters but with a few new twists and turns along the way. It’s set in the present time and features a “Canada’s Got Talent” type of competition, with a Susan Boyle type performance. It’s filled with plenty of jokes, lots of loud colourful characters and the beloved happily-ever-after ending! It’s fun for everyone!
Led by director Chantal Forde, Cinderella—A Holiday Pantomime stars a fabulous Hairy Godmother - a hilarious dame (Rikki Wright), the ugly stepsisters Cheyenna (Jessica Tontini) and Montana (Natasha Broomfield), the wicked stepmother (Lynne Scott), a reluctant Prince Charming (Brady Morrison), his sidekick Dan Deeley (Robin Scheffler), the King (Nick Forrow), the Queen (Francesca Brugnano) and, of course, Cinderella (Meaghan Greaves) and Buttons, Cinder’s faithful friend (Tim Cadeny). The ensemble features Susan Forde, Bella Guy, Aiden Halliday, Nichole Halliday, Shobha Hatte, Amanda Irvine, Shawna Johnson, Avery Mason, Alison Myers-Gomez, Jesse Robinson, Catherine Ross, Adam Suliman, J. Suliman, Polina Tarabukhina and Lisa Weeks.
