MUSIC FUN WITH SUZIE
"SUNSHINE" CLASSES
- Pitch, Tonality, Solfege (Do Re Mi)
- History (ie: famous composers)
- Introduction to music concepts, musical instruments and imagination
- Rhythm
- Movement
"Music Fun with Suzie
Sunshine" classes are filled with movement and activities to keep
children engaged and participatory. Eclectic styles & rhythms will be used
in the
classes to promote a natural love for music. All activities are
specifically designed to meet the age and abilities of the children in the
class.
The Suzie Sunshine program is values based. Empathy,
gratitude, patience, and joy principles are a strong focus throughout the
program. Classes are divided into three Semesters, each with a CD of songs that
will be used in the classroom (also available on I-Tunes).
Each Semester will also Focus on a different period of music ( ie: Baroque,
Classical ) and it's well known composers. The program will help introduce
important historical figures in a fun, and engaging way.
Cost: $195.00 per Semester ( 10 week program/ 45 minutes
each )
