ART SUMMER CAMPS 2013 at STREETdog ARTSTUDIO

ART SUMMER CAMPS 2013 at STREETdog ARTSTUDIO 1) ART-MANIACS CAMP August 12-16, 2013 from 9 am-1 pm (bring your own lunch) MONDAY: CLAYHand building, use of potter´s wheel and slab roller to create an animal, a vase and a shoe. TUESDAY: PAINTINGUsing Acrylic and Oil painting the students will work on a Landscape and a bouquet of summer flowers. WEDNESDAY: DRAWING Using pencil, conté, pastels and charcoal the students will learn about volume with light and shadows. THURSDAY: PHOTOGRAPHY 1) Using a professional camera the students will work on a self portrait. 2) Using a small digital camera the students will do creative photography. FRIDAY: WOOD BURNING and GLAZING 1) the students will work on a landscape or an animal burning a piece of recycled wood. 2) the students will glaze the clay art pieces made on Monday. (416)278 2093, patricia@artstudiostreetdog.com 2) ECO-CREATIVITY Camp July 15th-19th, 2013 from 10-11:30 am MONDAY: Reusing Cardboard Chevron On a Cardboard The children make this special piece of art using this very ancient geometrical figure (inverted V or zig-zag) in a piece of cardboard with acrylic paint. TUESDAY: Reusing Styrofoam Trays The children will use Styrofoam trays to make different printings. WEDNESDAY: Reusing Plastic Bottles The children bring their empty plastic water bottles to make a Self-Watering Pots to plant some seeds. Also they are going to make plastic bottle beads to make a very colorful bracelet. THURSDAY: Reusing Ceral Boxes The children will bring their own empty cereal box to make very useful and beautiful Garden Stepping Stones. FRIDAY: Reusing Pieces of Wood and Fabric The children will make their own stamps using different materials on a piece of wood having their unique patterns on kitchen towels.
