3. Why did you start your company?
The two main reasons. With our first baby we quickly realized that shelf stable baby food doesn't taste very fresh, and with a little research realized that homemade was the best option. Second, we know how busy families are today - making your own can be time consuming, so we wanted
to provide a product and a service that improves the all around quality of family life. Convenience without the compromise!

4. What does your company do?
Mum's Kitchen delivers all natural and/or organic baby food to your doorstep. We have the added service of a staff Dietitian, Alice, who provides her advice and guidance with all our food combinations and standard packages. Alice is also available to answer personal questions and concerns at no obligation to our customers and anyone else who visits
our site!

5. What's the best thing about being your own boss?
The endless opportunities to learn, take initiative, make mistakes and the
pride associated with achieving the goals we set for the business - big
and small!

6. What advice can you give to entrepreneurs that are starting out?
It takes time and determination - stick with it.

7. How do you manage family life and work?
We keep a very structured and regular routine and stay as organized as
possible. We are also very fortunate to have a large and supportive
extended family available to help out when we are needed for work or when
we need to be with our children. But most important, we include our
family in as much of the day-to-day operations of Mum's Kitchen as
possible.

8. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
Just as busy...or busier!
