About the artist:

Hanlie Combrinck started with violin at age four and piano at age five. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and worked in the software field for many years, before returning to her musical roots. She now shares her gentle compositions and arrangements with seniors and community groups in Southern Ontario, which has been her home for 11 years.

MUSIC FUN WITH SUZIE "SUNSHINE" CLASSES

• Pitch, Tonality, Solfege (Do Re Mi)
• History (ie: famous composers)
• Introduction to music concepts, musical instruments and imagination
• Rhythm
• Movement

"Music Fun with Suzie Sunshine" classes are filled with movement and activities to keep children engaged and participatory. Eclectic styles & rhythms will be used in the

classes to promote a natural love for music. All activities are specifically designed to meet the age and abilities of the children in the class.

 

The Suzie Sunshine program is values based. Empathy, gratitude, patience, and joy principles are a strong focus throughout the program. Classes are divided into three Semesters, each with a CD of songs that will be used in the classroom (also available on I-Tunes).

 

Each Semester will also Focus on a different period of music ( ie: Baroque, Classical ) and it's well known composers. The program will help introduce important historical figures in a fun, and engaging way.

 

Cost: $195.00 per Semester  ( 10 week program/ 45 minutes each )

Suzie Sunshine was created and founded by Suzanne Brown, A lifetime singer , songwriter and Early Childhood Educator.

Suzanne Brown has had several years experience working with and coaching young children in the arts as well as an extensive performance and recording career herself.

There are a variety of programs to suit your needs such as Daycare Music Programs, Parent & Tots Programs( Caretakers are welcome), After Schools Programs, Birthday Parties, Taylor Made "Value" Shows and more. You are sure to find the perfect fit to help promote the love and joy of music for your child(ren).

There are a couple of spots left in Our Saturday Parent and Tots classes for our Winter Semester Saturday mornings ( Infants to 4 years).
