Our mission at Oakville In-Home Music is to offer all the benefits of a professional music school in the comfort of your own home.  Unlike most in-home music programs we are NOT a referral service.  In-Home Music Lessons Oakville is a division of the Oakville Academy of Music.  Our music teachers are the same professional instructors that teach piano lessons, guitar lessons, ukulele, violin, and drum lessons at the Oakville Academy of Music.

Kaos Music Lesson Studios

At Kaos Music Lesson Studios our goal is to help you learn to make music. Young or not so young, classical, jazz or rock music, it doesn’t matter. The key to success in music education (we believe) is a strong combination of solid musical fundamentals and a focus on FUN! Great music lessons that are not fun never lead to true success and fun lessons that neglect fundamentals are doomed to fail as well. Enjoyable lessons motivate students who then work harder at it and achieve better results. This positive pattern of success perpetuates itself, the result being young musicians who are learning a valuable, lifelong skill. Our schools offer a variety of programs. For kids age 3-5 we offer the Yamaha Music Education System. A group keyboard program designed specifically for this age group. For kids age 6 and above, as well as adults we offer private lessons in piano, guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, voice, violin, woodwinds, trumpet and theory. For adults, we offer a adult specific guitar class. For kids age 7 -16 we offer the Voices Rock Canada Rock Choir program. Summer lessons available and our Fall programs start to take registrations on July 12th and begin in September. Since 1994 the Academy of Music has taught over 5000 students ranging in age from 3 to adults in Oakville Ontario. We offer private music lessons on piano, pre-school piano, guitar, voice, violin, viola, ukulele, drums, saxophone, clarinet, and flute - All in one location!

 

Are we the right music school for you?

About the artist:

Hanlie Combrinck started with violin at age four and piano at age five. She holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and worked in the software field for many years, before returning to her musical roots. She now shares her gentle compositions and arrangements with seniors and community groups in Southern Ontario, which has been her home for 11 years.

Business Feature: Fine School of Music

The Fine School of Music (FSM) operates as a for profit and non-for profit organization, that consists of a group of professional musicians within the industry, that provides music lessons both in-home and in-studio. The instruments that we provide lessons on are piano, guitar, violin and voice. It was incorporated in 2015 and became an affiliation of McMaster University's Innovation Park, with a mission to provide easy accessibility to music education in the highest degree of learning, through supplementing qualified teachers. Thus FSM connects students to teachers within a certain area. We can help supply any necessary music books if needed. At FSM we locate a teacher in the area of the student at which lessons will be conducted at the students home or at the teachers home studio. The lesson durations are half hour, 45 minutes or 1 hour of private instruction. Our teachers will also encourage and provide opportunities for students to perform within the community, and can work towards music examinations through the Royal Conservatory of Music. FSM focuses on it collaborations with not-for-profit organizations in order to spread music empowerment to underprivileged youth or families, providing the opportunity to experience music education towards individual fulfillment. FSM is based out of Hamilton, Ontario and offers services in Brampton, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton. FSM takes pride in advertising that all our teachers hold either an undergraduate or masters degree, which is required in order to provide service at the level which we state to deliver. Hence, our organizations slogan, “where music learning never ends..”. FSM is always looking to improve its ways to better serve its community, thus we offer an array of family packages, individual student packages and a free trial lesson.
