An individual profile is created for each child and parents are involved in the development of the profile and goal setting, which helps the teachers to create programming that, is developmentally appropriate for their child. “Our teachers sit down with parents every three months to track their child’s progress in the program,” Rainville explains. The key curriculum components include literacy, numeracy and the development of learning skills required for future academic success. All the classrooms are designed to stimulate each child’s natural curiosity to learn and explore. Sensory experiences engage the children in learning and allow them to fully explore and understand concepts of language, mathematics, science and social studies. French instruction, art exploration and music are also parts of the core curriculum. To ensure the students are receiving the best possible teaching available, all of toddler and preschool teachers are extensively trained in the area of child development and are continuously expanding their knowledge through professional development and continuing education. The enriched kindergarten program is staffed with teachers with Bachelor of Education Degrees, Ontario Teacher’s College Membership, and RECE qualifications. 3. Why did you start your company?
My career really began in information technology at IBM, GE Capital and CIBC negotiating enterprise software agreements but in my 6th or 7th year with CIBC, it became clear it was really time to take stock and to follow my passion, which is helping woman to become what I've always aspired to be - confident, sexy and successful. I've always had a strong desire to be in charge - just ask my husband, and to be free to schedule my time around my priorities -  children and family - which hasn't always worked out perfectly...so I created Chi-Chi Laser Studios and I'm extremely proud to be expanding into my 2nd location, but to be honest remaining small and local and still having time to enjoy my wonderful husband and family are my real aspirations - however cliche that may sound. My philosophy has always been to make certain every client on every visit to Chi-Chi enjoys the highest caliber of personal service, and my Friends that is no cliche.

4. What does your company do?
Strong confident, sexy and successful woman is what my business is about - no not human trafficking - we help woman look and feel beautiful and confident through laser cosmetic therapies and in particular through painless laser hair removal treatments.

5. What's the best thing about being your own boss?
I just love all the stress - no honestly, its to be free to schedule my time around my priorities -  children and family.

6. What advice can you give to Entrepreneurs that are starting out?
Make sure your not just "me too" make sure you have a strong differentiator - whats unique to Chi-Chi Laser Studios in the market place beyond using state of the art "painless" procedures is our bed side manner, the expertise of our laser technicians (through our rigid hiring and training practices) and our philosophy to make certain every client on every visit to Chi-Chi enjoys the highest caliber of personal service - what we're not is some Groupon - esque mass production "animal factory farm" - we're competitively priced and far and away your best value in the market place - and that's become very evident since 90% of our growth is attributable to word of mouth referrals...and I would be remiss if I didn't take this opportunity to thank all of my wonderful "affectedly elegant and trendy" clients for making Chi-Chi Laser Studios successful.

7. How do you manage family life and work?
I wish I could be more helpful to your readers in this regard - but everyone assigns their own certain priority or level of importance to every activity in their lives - I guess the only advice I can give is to really "know your priorities".

8. Where do you see yourself in 10 years time?
Well lets be honest - life is what happens to you while your busy making other plans - I think that was John Lennon. My focus is here and now, as you know I'm a vegan and try to live a clean and healthy lifestyle and my dream for my family and friends and I is for abundant affluence and an optimal state of well being - and God willing in ten years I will still be around to enjoy it.

StageCoach Theatre Arts, one of the world's longest running and most successful children's theatre schools - is now in Oakville!

Kidsportsplex is excited to launch Sporty Tots, our NEW Toddler's Multi-Sports Ball program. The program is designed to develop your toddler's basic fundamental sports skills, gross motor skills and coordination in a FUN, and non-competitive environment. This four week program will reinforce teamwork and skills development while building confidence and social skills for use in every day life.
Your toddlers will have a BLAST participating in our creative and interactive sports program! Activities focus on developing the skills involved in soccer, hockey, baseball, basektball, golf, and tennis. We provide easy to use and age appropriate equipment in our Mini Multi-Gym to assist them in learning the different sports.

The program will be led and instructed by our experienced and qualified staff with certified First Aid and CPR Level C training and related University degrees. Our staff is friendly, energetic and well-trained to lead toddlers activities and provide a fun learning atmosphere for your toddlers.

If you are interested in signing-up for the program, call or email us ASAP to ensure you get a spot. We are only accepting 8-10 registrants for this introductory special, so contact us immediately if you would like a spot. We will accept registration if space is available until Friday June 29th. A $50 deposit is required to hold your spot.

Busy Bodies Indoor Playground is considered Ontario`s favorite “Hot Spot” to meet old friends and make new ones. With over 5300 sq. ft. of fabulous fun, children up to the age of 10 yr. old can strengthen their gross motor skills as they race down the wave slides, zoom through the spiral slides, zip across monkey bars and practice shooting hoops with our oversized basketball nets that even parents will love to engage in!
The Summer Camp will run June, July and August 2012

Hours:

Half Days 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.

Or

1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Full Days 9:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.

Full Time children provide their own lunch. Please remember no NUT products.

We provide a healthy nutritious snack.

Parents can choose 1 – 5 days a week.
The children participate in a variety of activities each day. They will have the opportunity to participate in science experiments, cooking activities, arts and crafts, sensory play, music activities, circle times and dramatic play. The children will play at Busy Bodies Playground for gross motor time.

The camp is geared for children 2 – 5 yrs. of age.


Toilet training not necessary. Please provide extra clothes, diapers and wipes.

Please provide a knapsack with spare clothing, socks, etc.
