Bronte Harbour Nursery School is an outstanding non-profit nursery school in south west Oakville, where we nurture your child’s individuality and independence in a loving and kind atmosphere.

We are active participants in Halton’s Quality First initiative, and are committed to providing top quality care to your child. We believe that all children, regardless of their abilities, have the right to participate in an environment where they will be valued, respected and supported throughout their learning journey. Our experienced teachers continuously evaluate and adapt our program to ensure that we are meeting the needs of all of the children.

Our belief is that children learn through their play experiences, and to support this, we provide an environment that offers both child-directed and teacher-supported activities. These activities promote growth in each of the areas of development: social, emotional, creative, cognitive and physical. Children will create, explore, experiment and grow as individuals.

Our warm and loving teachers work together with the children, sharing ideas, thoughts and interests in order to create and plan a curriculum that stimulates, motivates and educates. Programs run from September to June for Toddlers ages 18 months to 30 months, and Preschool ages from 2 ½ years to 5 years.

Horizon TKD has just celebrated its 22nd year anniversary as a martial arts school in Oakville.

The club was established in June 2001 by owner and operator, Louie Sanchez, Chief Instructor. Horizon TKD has grown through the years due to his dedicated instruction of and the referrals from existing students and parents.

What we do

Horizon Taekwon-do and Family Fitness is committed to providing the best training and guidance to both children and adults of all ages.

Horizon TKD has earned the reputation as a family oriented club with principles of teaching that are based on mutual trust, respect, integrity, genuine concern and a commitment to excellence.

Horizon Taekwondo is a member of WAKO. WAKO Canada works with every provincial and territorial government to develop and support Provincial Sporting Organizations (PSOs).

In doing so our association is always in compliance with provincial regulations regarding combative sanctioning.

Our involvement with government has allowed our PSO's to be part of multi-sport events such as the Ontario Winter Games and access to professional development courses for instructors and coaches.

ART SESSION
12 week program

​

STREETdog ARTstudio offers a Fine Art Program tailored to students of all ages who have expressed a special interest in the Visual Arts. The students will enjoy learning a whole range of art making skills including:

​

Academic drawing

Painting

Sculpture

Studio photography

History of ancient civilizations

​

Each student has their own personal set of brushes/pencils/clay tools, etc. so they don’t have to share their material with anybody else.

​

Steps taken by the Studio are to increase comfort and to try to make the experience more rewarding for participating students.

We will start our program on September 11th of 2023.
