KNB LEARNING

YOU ARE INVITED to the GRAND OPENING of KNB LEARNING this weekend! On Saturday, September 9th & Sunday, September 10th, from 10 a.m to 4 p.m., KNB Learning is opening its doors to the community for a weekend of fun and free LEGO, DUPLO, Robotics, Minecraft, and Coding programming for kids! There will be prizes for the first 50 children who attend with their parents. And there will be special discounts for parents who register their children during our Grand Opening weekend.

So, who are we, anyways - and where did we come from? KNB Learning started its life as kids n bricks, a mobile LEGO birthday party business. In truth, it was born of a mother's love for her autistic son, Matthew. That mother was also a teacher, and the birthday parties quickly grew to include educational programs that came to schools and camps. LEGO was soon joined by its sister, DUPLO, and then LEGO Robotics; eventually, Minecraft, computer programming & technology classes, and tutoring were added to our offerings. We serve all children, and offer special needs accommodation where possible.

We have looked forward to finding a home for a long time now - a place where we could serve our kids in the best possible way to meet their needs, grow their strengths, and help them reach their potential. We feel that we have found a wonderful place to begin doing just that in our new location! kids n bricks began many years ago with a single purpose - to bring the joy and love of learning to all children, using LEGO as our primary tool. Over the years, we have grown and evolved, including the change of our name to KNB Learning, but that primary purpose still remains - we are committed to bringing a love of learning to our kids, and we have discovered some pretty amazing ways to do so! Li'l Oscars

Li'l Oscars is a parented program that OSC has developed for participants who are 2 years old (born in 2015). Using the principles of physical literacy, this program is designed to shape our future sports stars through active play-based activities that will develop coordination skills, listening skills and basic motor skills.

Taking place on the indoor artificial turf field at the Pine Glen Soccer Centre, participants have the opportunity to run and play on a soft surface. While this program is not a soccer skills program, it will help to prepare children for sports activities in the future while providing an outlet to expend physical energy and engage in active, social play.

The Annex Dance Academy is a professional dance studio in the beautiful city of Oakville. Children build knowledge and skills through continuous and evolving processes of instruction. Our program for our youngest dancers is organized in this evolving form allowing for children to actively build new learning and understanding. JAZZ Jazz is a high energy class that incorporates stretching, strength, musicality and technique. Our classes cover the fundamentals of the various styles of Jazz dancing. HIP HOP Hip Hop is fun and exciting and keeps you moving in step with the latest trends in music and motion. Some advanced classes may include break-dancing. The Chartwell House Babysitters Club hosted in a licensed childcare facility run by registered early childhood educators. Parties are from 6:00 pm to 10:00pm Ages 18 months -8 years. The party is open to previous and existing Chartwell House families and their neighborhood FRIENDS! Our jam-packed evening will include: outdoor play, a dance-a-thon, games and activities, arts and crafts, cheese pizza and a movie. So remember to come dressed in your pajamas!
